This collaboration is a fantastic example of the style, the dark brown pour loaded with enticing notes of caramel malt, earthy peat, brown sugar and some red plum-skin nuances. Balanced and drinkable despite the higher alcohol, which only truly makes itself known on the slightly warming peppery finish. The hops give a good lift to the mouthfeel and a slight dryness…
