Roman Ename Dubbel Abbey Ale
Dark mahogany color; whipped cream-like foam. Come-hither bouquet of chocolate, molasses, road tar and charred malt. Entry is bitter and intensely chocolaty; midpalate is off-dry to semisweet and shows backnotes of fruit and tobacco. Keen aftertaste is bittersweet, hoppy, full and creamy.

Roman Ename Tripel Abbey Ale
Hay-like color; huge, white cloud-like head. Delicate, sweet opening nose offers hops and malt; later sniffings don’t uncover much more, aromatically speaking. On palate, it’s plump, velvety, hoppy, floral and malty; a seductive herbal taste emerges at midpalate. Ends well with a refreshing taste of hops.
