Well made for what it is: a sweet, barrel-fermented wine that tastes outright sugary. Amid the blatant sweetness there’s peach pit and almondy aromas, lots of barrel resin, and finally sweet, oaky mango and tropical fruit flavors. Properly made and acidic, but arguably too sweet for Godello.
