A touch minty and dry smelling, with simple, solid, slightly underdeveloped flavors. All in all, it’s hard to find much brightness in this wine; instead it’s subdued and chocolaty, and it never really crosses the Rubicon of ripeness. That said, it goes down easy and doesn’t burn like many Toro wines.
