Expert Reviews

Complex, with a melange of flavors ranging from apples, peaches, and pears all the way to mangoes. Upfront acidity makes the wine come alive. It seduces the palate with fresh fruitiness and creaminess, and is spectacularly food friendly.

Opening aromas of butter, vanilla and cream (and a creamy mouthfeel) almost make you wistful for overoaked Claifornia Chards, but the Brancott is lighter and more elegant. Airy marshmallow and butterscotch flavors are balanced by loads of pear. Finishes with a lean, pear skin, mineral back end.
