This is an austere and sophisticated expression of Sangiovese Grosso, with dried tobacco and spice backed by prune and currant. The fruit is ripe and mature without being overtly jammy, chewy or too sweet. In fact, it presents a savory-sophisticated front with ample concentration and a polished texture. Good aging potential.
