Bordeaux doesn’t need wines at 14.5%, and this wine suffers as a consequence. It is very dense, packed with heavy black fruits, with a bitter, burnt rubber edge, as well as pepper. The tannins are powerful, dry and dark. Luckily, the aftertaste has some attractive black currant flavors.
