An absolute gem from respected Languedoc produer Gérard Bertrand. The aromas draw you in immediately with intense, brooding notes of coffee, black fruit preserves, cocoa and tea leaves. The mouth, like crushed velvet, offers more black plum and blueberry preserve notes while dusty tannins dance in your mouth. Garrigue spice lingers in the finish. Hold until 2010–2013.
