Here’s an austere, sophisticated wine, with a pretty garnet color and finely polished aromas of cassis, wild berry, cola, wet river stone, barbecue smoke and bresaola. There’s good complexity and integration and this Brunello delivers satisfying freshness and balanced acidity.
