Harmonious, with plenty of spicy oak accenting the bruising black fruit that builds and builds as the bouquet unfolds. The palate isn’t overly complex, but it is loaded with black cherry and plum. Then mounds of bitter chocolate take over on the finish. Forward and in your face; a linear, powerful monotone wine but one of unquestionable quality.
