Dry and nicely oaked, with hints of fine aged cheese, campfire, dried fruits and leather. The palate is a little more fruity than the nose, but still it’s dry and tight, with raspberry and cherry flavors. While some acidity sits on the surface, overall this gran reserva is tasty, fresh and more than likable. Drink now through 2013.
