The bouquet is somewhat lacking in “grip” with initial aromas of peanuts and peanut butter; following aeration the bouquet turns more like fiber/textile. Entry is long, oily, remarkably substantial, and maple sweet; midpalate features tastes of light fudge, maple, chocolate covered orange, caramel and honey. Finish is elegant and sturdy.
