Palate entry at least offers tastes of baked banana, pear drops and guava; midpalate the flavor turns sap- and maple-like. Finishes sappy sweet, moderately fruity and pleasant. Best Buy.

Jules Gautret Quest of Venture VS Cognac

Fruity, animated aroma are followed by assertive fragrances of gum, grapefruit, pineapple and white raisins. Palate entry is fresh, grapy and maple-sweet; midpalate the flavor profile suffers from a flash of raw spirity heat and a trace of dullness/flatness. Finishes sweet, a tad lean, banana- and caramel-like.

Aroma is of limp vegetation and hard candy. Palate entry is pleasantly sap-like and sweet; midpalate features traces of oaky, vanilla-like character and eventually a round, even supple ripe grapiness that lasts well into the aftertaste. Decent once past the subdued bouquet.
