The nosing passes detect subtle scents of sweetish grain and cocoa; aeration time further brings out the appealing Cocoa Puffs-like cereal sweetness. Palate entry is sweet, grainy, and chocolaty; midpalate doesn’t display much in layered depth but remains pleasantly sweet and grainy. Ends up sweet in a ripe rather than sugary manner.
