Despite some pickled, stalky aromas and flavors, this wine has everything you want in an easy-drinking Merlot. Strong flavors of blueberry, cherry pie and graham cracker are a touch sweet, and the wine has a nice fat quality to its medium body. Aromas need time to open and develop, showing cherry and spice. Oak is prominent on the finish, and this wine should drink…

Doesn't quite reach the potential of Merlot on Long Island, but still has aromas of vanilla, mint and red fruit. In the mouth the fruit is tart cherry, with eucalyptus and horse starting to show. Has fine weight and tannins, but gets greener on the finish.
