There’s some good varietal character here, with the aromas and flavors of plums, violets, cassis and cherry-chocolate. Feels smooth in the mouth, with dry tannins. Finishes a bit rustic, but overall, not bad.

Simple, with the taste and feel of alcohol-laced lemonade. The citrusy, spearminty flavors are a little sweet, and the wine finishes with a thud.

This indifferent wine has simple, watered down flavors of citrus fruits. About the only thing the palate experiences is acidity and alcohol. Yet it is technically without flaws.
