A bit charred and hot on the nose, but with some tempering richness finds its way. The mouth is dominated by blackberry flavors with raisin accents, while the finish is a touch oaky and pulpy. Bold and meaty but not endowed with much finesse or variety.  — M.S.  (12/15/2007)
