At $7 a liter the price might be right, but that’s about as far as we’re willing to go in praising this boxed combo of Chardonnay with 10% Torrontés. The wine has mushy aromas of corn and hay, while the apple flavors are mealy and bring back some of the baked corn from the nose. Candied on the finish and flat.  — M.S.  (8/1/2009)
