Packs as much flavor as you can fit in a glass. Ultraripe pineapples and peaches, caramelized oak, toasty meringue, vanilla, the works. Plus, it’s creamy, smooth and crisp.

This is a great price for a dessert wine of this deliciousness. It’s all apricot jam, honeysuckle and vanilla spice, and tastes botrytisy too, with a richly honeyed mouthfeel. Brings to mind sipping in a summer flower garden.

A fine Chardonnay, especially at this price. Shows flashy pineapple, pear and guava flavors, enriched with smoky vanilla and buttered toast. Crisp acidity makes it all bright and clean.

A lovely, easy-to-like Bordeaux blend that stands proud next to Napa wines far more expensive. It’s rich and sweet in raspberries, cherries and blackberries, with a smoky coat of oak. Drink now.

A Napa Cabernet at this price? It’s pretty good, too, rich with juicy blackberry and oak flavors, with fancy, smooth tannins, and very dry. A value for its balance and harmony.

Good price for a Napa Valley Petite Sirah this rich and balanced. It’s not one for the cellar, but is nice for drinking now, for its soft, gentle flavors of raspberries, cherries, blackberries and toast.

This is barrel fermented, with noticeable flavors of heavily buttered toast, butterscotch and caramel flavors. Bright with crisp acidity, it also features notes of ripe pineapple, pear, peach and mango.
