This new wine from the Neuquén region is a winner. It has a deep, exotic nose of black fruit and citrus peel, while the palate is slick, lush and tastes of blackberry, cassis and orange peel. Deep, sultry, chewy Malbec with a robust finish.

Dark purple in color, with blackberry and spice on a potent bouquet. The palate is ripe and pure, with rich dark fruit flavors and oak-driven chocolate notes. Finishes full, toasty, peppery and smooth. Very nice and sturdy Malbec for everyday drinking.

Concentrated, with plenty of aromatic richness and dark fruit aromas of blackberry and cassis. The palate features proper extraction and weight, with forceful, powered-up flavors of wild berry and toast. Solid on the finish, with good ending weight and legs.

Typical of a Patagonian red, the profile of this Merlot is fresh, racy and snappy, Red fruit and black pepper aromas get it going, while the cherry and raspberry flavors are crisp and forward. Solid but generic red wine.

Fresh raspberry and cherry aromas are basic and clean, while the palate has a normal feel and bright but generic red-fruit flavors. A smidgen of sweetness and caramel appears on the finish, but overall this is average Cabernet without much character.

Leafy and dull to start, with questionable freshness to the aromatics. More hard and tannic than you’d want, and herbal and tomatoey in the mouth. It even has a distinct salty, no-sugar finish. Where’s the freshness?
