It is too bad that the winery seems to have overloaded this wine with sulfites; it’s pleasant enough otherwise, and sells for less than most Oregon Pinot Gris. But the scent and taste of burnt match gives a bitter edge to the fruit, and buries the nose. — P.G. (2/1/2002)
