A firm but supple wine that shows off rich chocolate, coffee, plum, spice and herb flavors. The tannins frame the flavors effectively, and offer good structure to the blend. Moderate length on the finish.

Solid middle of the road Chard, all peaches and cream and opulent spices. Dry and rich, with a creamy texture, the wine turns peppery on the finish.

Ultra-sweet, with honeyed flavors of blackberries, currants, chocolate, anise and spices. Would score higher if it were more concentrated and complex.

Smells and tastes harsh and hot, with pruny, raisiny aromas and a gritty, earthy flavor. Very dry, with soft tannins and acids. Try with pizza and burgers.
