This wine purports to cause whiplash, supposedly because it’s so good, hence the “HeadSnapper” name. And while that’s not likely to take place, its blackberry, toast and brambly undercurrent give it character, while the finish is cushioned and long, albeit a touch oaky. Healthy and very much worth a look, even if it won’t cause your head to snap.

This is smoky and a touch fiery and woody on the nose. Fresh on the palate, with plenty of body and pulp, it bears full flavors of berries and a fair amount of wood-driven spices. The finish tastes oaky and slightly lactic.
