Fairly dense and slightly herbal on the nose, with balsamic notes, dried cheese and mature fruit aromas. This is still spunky and well composed in the mouth, with flavors of tobacco, earthy berry and toasty oak. Shows weight and grab on the finish. An honest, mature wine to drink now; it’s not going to improve.

Aromas of medicinal berry, sucking candy, rhubarb and raspberry are a touch gawky, but the snappy palate of blueberry and boysenberry is good. Fresh, racy and simple red wine. 50% Syrah and 50% Tempranillo. 25,000 cases produced.

A little rusty in color, with earthy, stemmy, baked fruit aromas mixed with a dose of dried leaves. Seems a lot like Cabernet Franc with its herbal, leafy overtones and dry plum and cherry flavors. Finishes short and herbal, but with good feel and flow.
