Between this Tempranillo’s dry tannins and herbaceous flavors, your tongue just may go numb. Still, there are nice, dark flavors underneath it all—black fruit, mocha, maybe even some chocolate. Finishes with oak and herb accents. —D.M. — D.T. (4/1/2003)
