Extraordinary stuff. The aromas practically defy description, packed with smoke, tobacco, cigar box and cured meat, all wrapped around a deep, rich core of black cherries. Picks up even more complexity in the mouth, adding vanilla, plums and dates in an expansive, mouthfilling experience, then—wham—the tannins hit home, sending you reeling and wondering when this…

Bruno Rocca’s well- received Rabajà is extremely generous with soft tones of mature fruit, spice, vanilla, ginger and root beer. His are very well-made wines and the softness and suppleness of the texture is their most admirable quality. The finish is long and smooth and peppered with black fruit and vanilla. Drink after 2015.

This year’s best expression from the celebrated Rabajà cru, Bruno Rocca presents a beautifully integrated Barbaresco that shows equal parts fruit (prune, plum and cassis) and spice (vanilla, root beer and clove). The wine is smooth, silky and very enduring on the close with excellent structure. Drink after 2015.

Packaged with an elegant black label and Bruno Rocca’s trademark feather, this wine is unlike anything you will taste from Barbaresco. The nose is rich and inviting with tones of cured meat, black pepper, plum, anise and leather. It’s a soft, round wine, but remains elegant and restrained at the same time—and it’s a true food-friendly wine.

Beautiful concentration and opulent richness open the way for ensuing aromas of black cherry, leather, tobacco, blackberry and spice. Bruno Rocca is a tireless advocate of Barbaresco. His base wine is soft and plush with lingering tones of allspice, clove, smoke and ginger that ride over solid tannins. Drink after 2012.

Coparossa Barbaresco is set apart by an additional note of oak spice that, with time, will certainly evolve into shades of clove, oak, hazelnut and chocolate. In Bruno Rocca’s signature style, the wine is plush and firm with tight tannins and overall roundness that gives it dimension and staying power. Drink after 2015.

Bruno Rocca releases yet another beautiful Barbaresco. In the 2007, the wine delivers a hearty, genuine feel that is reflected in aromas of black fruit, spice, bresaola, wet earth and tar. The wine boasts a clean, fine texture with polished tannins and bright acidity. The finish is long and spice driven.

Ripe and rocking, with huge extract and aromas of bacon, black cherry and fine-grained oak. What a specimen this is; the palate blasts with blackberry and spiced meat, while the finish comes on like a freight train. Notes of jerky, leather and bitter chocolate add grit to the pure fruit that defines this wine.
