From the Serralunga d’Alba area of Barolo production (an area known for thicker, denser, more structured wines) comes this bold and beautiful expression of Nebbiolo. The wine boasts huge intensity and luscious, soft roundness on the close.

Barolo Colarej is characterized by dark concentration, powdery tannins and bright aromas of forest fruit, cola and exotic spice. The wine presents a compact, streamlined style with a blast of fruit intensity on the finish. Pair this beautiful wine with game hen and black truffle.

Rich and solid black-cherry fruit greets you and it persists through the palate and finish. Cocoa and herb notes provide interesting accents. The lush and dusty mouthfeel is balanced by good acidity that keeps it lively. Classic Dolcetto at an excellent price. Best Buy.

This wine shows a touch of age or flatness and its ruby color also shows some mild browning. The wine will hold a few more years but the fruit tones present now won’t last forever. You’ll get aromas of wild berries and red apple.

Somewhat stewed fruit at the beginning spurs a medicinal element, which is mostly covered by a large serving of oak. Cranberry, light cherry and nutmeg flavors. A light-bodied wine despite its woodiness. Akin to Pinot Noir.
