The product of no malolactic fermentation and no oak, the wine's deep scents of citrus, melon and passion fruit jump from the glass. What great fruit! It has the stuffing and fruity ripeness of plenty of other costly Cabernets, at a fraction of the price. Maybe that’s because they didn’t drench it in expensive oak barrels. Don’t look for char or vanilla or smoke, just terrific blackberry flavor in a dry package, with $50 tannins. Best Buy.
