A nose of enticing blackberry jam is followed by a slightly smoky, spicy blend of savory, earthy flavors. The nose and palate are a touch discordant, but overall the wine is unique and approachable.

This is rife with earthy spice on the nose and on the palate, some of that lively spice continues. But there’s a lack of dimension and finesse here that would make this stand out. The intentions are good, but there’s not enough here to support them.
