A broad, obvious Chardonnay, with appley flavors and a hit of oak. Good acids provide life and freshness to this otherwise simple, one-dimensional wine.

Deep red-purple color, and strong aromas of plums, straw, mushroom and coffee. Big in the mouth, with rugged berry flavors and tannins. Very dry, and the sticky tannins show up on the finish.

A rugged, country-style wine, with some berry flavors and lots of herbal, earthy notes. Tannins are jagged and rough. Turns a bit sweet on the finish.
