Chanson Père et Fils Winery is one of the oldest ‘houses’ of Beaune and one of the larger owners of Beaune premier cru vineyards. The modern day house of Chanson was established as Maison Verry by Simon Verry in 1750 and was acquired by Chanson in 1794. Today Chanson Pere et Fils Vineyards is owned by Champagne Bollinger and continues to produce Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines exclusively. More than 25% of Chanson Pere et Fils wines are produced from its own fruit requirements. The other grapes are sourced from growers selected in accordance with the commitment to quality set forth by Maison Chanson. Moreover, all of the 110 estate acres planted by Chanson are either premier or grand cru vineyards, meaning the wines are of very high quality according to our Chanson Pere et Fils reviews. They are also one of the larger négociants in Beaune allowing them to offer many wines on the value end of the spectrum as well.
