Shows the wonderfully silky side of Grenache—the main part of the blend—in its diaphanous, delicate texture that manages to be soft but not too soft, beautifully framing flavors of cherries, spice and cola. Long on the finish, trailing away slowly and elegantly. Drink now–2015.

The hints of toast and crème brûlée that accent mixed plum on the palate come through with more force on the finish. Black and red plum fruit on the palate is solid and pure. A really smart package.

Has eucalyptus and black fruit on the nose, but takes on hints of caramel with air; plum and berry fruit reads a little redder on the palate. A yummy, fiesty wine—energetic, yet cunning enough to act like a grownup, serious Shiraz when it needs to.

Rich and chocolaty, yet also bursting with berry fruit. There’s plenty of spice, too, making this a complete package. Supple tannins impart a creamy texture, while the finish picks up a hint of tea leaf. Drink now–2015.

Medium-full in the mouth, it’s dry, chalky, refreshing. Darkens and deepens on the finish. A crazy blend of Grenache (47.2%), Shiraz (18%), Pinot Meunier (16%), Cab Sauv (15.5%) and…

Has great grip on the tongue—the chalky tannins hold on for dear life. Medium-bodied; its fruit shows graham cracker, powder and wheat flour through and through. Quite enjoyable.

Spicy, peppery oak aromas are presented on a backdrop of red berry fruit. This wine’s texture is its centerpiece: It has a smooth, mouthcoating, milky-clay feel, and deals berry and subtle oak flavors. Very enjoyable. Imported by Epic Wines.

Mint and bread flour on the nose, with raspberry and red plum flavors on the palate. Its smooth, oaky tannins continue through to the finish, where there’s bread-flour and graham-cracker flavors. A terrific GSM.
