Château Bourgneuf 2009 Red (Pomerol)
This is a solid, angular wine, both its structure and its fruit coming together well. It has an underlying new-wood character that is powerful and rich. The tannins taste sweet and are already softening.

Château Bourgneuf 2012 Barrel sample Red (Pomerol)
88–90. Barrel sample. This wine is rich and ripe in style with intense dark-fruit flavors and a bold, chocolaty character. There's plenty of spice along with spirited acidity, but on the finish, it feels solid, full and a bit chunky.

Château Bourgneuf 2010 Red (Pomerol)
Tense and firmly tannic, this wine is still very young. Berry and black currant fruit are still dominated by a dry character. The wine will take time toward its slow maturity.
