This is Gérard Perse's home, and he has done wonders for a vineyard on the sandy plain of Saint-Emilion. With 2000, the property has shone, producing a serious, complex wine that boasts black fruits and solid tannins. The acidity and wood flavors give it shape and leave a delicious, lingering taste.
