A supple, elegant wine--the qualities that are alleged to be typical of Beaumes-de-Venise wines. It also has plenty of bright, crunchy cherry fruit and a hefty dash of peppery spice. Nicely balanced, and ready to drink now but capable of a few years' of development.

Very soft and supple, with a slightly baked, dusty quality to the cherry fruit. Could use a little more spice and structure, but this is certainly easy to drink now.
