A complex young Pinot Noir, high in mouthwatering acidity and bone dry. The tartness gives the cherry and cranberry fruit a refreshing sour candy taste. Not an ager, but give it a good decant.

Try this next time you’re looking for something rich like a Chardonnay, streamlined like a Sauvignon Blanc, but different. It has the creamy opulence of Chard, with honeyed melon, pineapple and peach custard flavors. Yet there’s firm acidity and a minerally core that gives the wine backbone.

It’s bone dry, with that famous Edna Valley acidity, making for a mouthwatering wine. The flavors are subtle but compelling, suggesting lemons and limes and touches of papaya and white flowers. A beautiful white wine to accompany an appetizer, at a very appealing price.

A real success story for its delicate, refined structure and lovely flavors of cola, sassafras, orange peel and tart red cherries. Very dry, with some firm tannins, the wine is closed now, and will benefit from hours of decanting.

What a lovely wine. It showcases the success that Edna Valley enjoyed this vintage. Rich, oaky forest floor, mushroom, hard spice and tomato notes. Red stone fruits also star in the complex flavors. Fairly tannic and bone dry, with great balance, this is a wine that will benefit from mid-term aging or decanting.

A delightful Riesling, crisp in Central Coast acidity and with classic flavors of green apples, citrus fruits, honeysuckle flowers and a pungent note of petrol. It straddles the border between dry and off-dry, and is easy to like with Vietnamese and Cambodian fare.

Lots of sweet raspberry and cherry flavors in this soft, delicious wine. It delivers plenty of pleasure, and is priced fairly for the quality. Drink it now.

ItÕs a little misleading to call it Òdry.Ó The floral, fruity flavors taste like a fig newton or a peach cobbler, with an intense spiciness thatÕs partly varietal, partly the result of excellent acidity. That steely quality supports the fruitiness. The wine is balanced and quite delicious.
