Clos du Marquis 2010 Red (Saint-Julien)
A great wine, packed with black currant fruits, sweet tannins and beautiful acidity. Made by the team at Léoville las Cases, this wine reveals an elegant, restrained structure, ripe and delicious fruit and a darker, tighter texture for aging.

Clos du Marquis 2009 Red (Saint-Julien)
A dense wine, the wood just showing at this stage through its dark tannins and superb rich fruit. The wine is ripe, with a density of tannins that go right down deep. Big and powerful.

92–94. Barrel sample. Made from grapes grown in a specific parcel in the Léoville Las Cases vineyard, Clos du Marquis is a ripe wine that's also promises seriously good aging. Tannins and structure dominate the black fruits and acidity.

Clos du Marquis 2004 Red (Saint-Julien)
This is the second wine of Léoville-las-Cases, big and black, stunningly perfumed with eucalyptus and violets. Herbs and ripe black fruit flavors are given shape by the tannins that go straight through the wine. The aftertaste has great acidity.
