A dark, extracted wine, loaded with very ripe fruit and dominated by new wood. It is generally soft, maybe missing structure, but certainly a great wine for lovers of ripe, sweet black fruits.

With its ultra-low yields, and 20 months aging in new French oak, this is very much in the mold of the “garage wines” of the 1990s. It is superrich, weighed down with luscious fruit, powerful toast and spice wood flavors. At 14% alcohol, it is strong indeed for Bordeaux.
