Sometimes lean, elegant wines appeal to specific tastes, and this is that kind of wine. It’s very dry, very acidic, with a steely minerality undergirding fresh pineapple and honeysuckle flavors. This is a carefully calibrated wine, not one of those over-the-top Viogniers.

Pretty and elegant, though not typically forward like many Viogniers. The wine shows off hints of melon, peach, apricot and spice. Silky and lean on the palate, with a clean finish.

On the palate, this wine has crisp acids, a minerally feel and a pleasant pear-flavored core. Finishes with good length, and minerally, nutty flavors.

Nose is fairly closed, revealing light hay aromas with some airing. Its size is impressive—muscular, even—but showcases more wood than fruit. One reviewer found noticeable alcohol on the finish.
