Oak Knoll is in the southern Napa Valley, and this wine reflects its warmish origins in its softness. Although there are polished flavors of apples and peaches and a rich coating of oak, the wine could have greater brightness and a brisker mouthfeel. Still, it’s pretty darned flavorful. — S.H.
