Opens with unique, abnormal aromas of spiced fruit, cardamom and nutmeg. The palate is thick along the edges but lacks body in the middle, while flavors of red berry fruit are chunky, mildly stewy and roasted. Earthy and funky wine, but with good feel and overall good character.  — M.S.  (6/1/2010)
