This is a straightforward, easy-to-drink Saint-Joseph that leans toward the darker side of the Syrah spectrum. Black cherry and plum notes hint at tar and espresso. Although there’s not much peppery spice, this is still a rich mouthful of northern Rhône Syrah.

Fresh, pure and supple, with plenty of forward blackberry fruit destined for early consumption. An easygoing wine that hits the right notes, even picking up a hint of pepper on the finish. Drink now.
