Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier, whose family owns the Château de Chambolle, has made a huge, deeply colored wine with aromas of roses and truffles. To taste, it is rich, opulent and oozing fruit, with generous tannins and fresh acidity coming together in fine balance. It has all the seductive character of Musigny.

A complete wine, with richness, exotic spices and a great depth of flavor. The tannins are dark, intense, flavored with red plums, the layers of tannin, wood and fruit peeling away to a core of great concentration. Impressive.

Beautiful fresh raspberry flavors appear with tannins showing a density and dryness, but the essential is the perfume and the freshness. While it is not a big wine, it does have a solid core of dense fruit, but the end is light, with just a hint of tannin.

A deeply colored wine that reveals flavors of raspberries and firm wood. It is broad and rich, with dark tannins, leaving a clean, fresh, poised taste of acidity and sweet fruits. The wine is still coming together, but promises to age well—give it at least five years.

Delicate, perfumed, with its fresh fruits dominant. They are light raspberry flavors with just a backbone of dry tannin. The whole is vibrant, fresh.

This, the second wine from Clos de la Maréchale, is light, very fresh, dusty in texture, the tannins held in suspension, with red plum and cranberry flavors.
