Domaine Rochette 2008 Les Micouds Gamay (Morgon)
A wine that has fine, serious concentration, a definite candidate for aging. The fruit is powerful, the extraction just on the right side of too much, bringing out the ripe sweet red fruits while leaving room for good acidity. Impressive and worth decanting if drunk now.

Domaine Rochette 2008 Gamay (Beaujolais-Villages)
An excellent, full-bodied, intensely fruity wine. It is big, ripe, the black cherry and red plum flavors bursting out, spiced with some wood. This is very drinkable now, but in 6–9 months, this will bring in some textured tannins as well.
