A good, rich, village-style Pinot Noir with some real class, especially in the structure. The flavors of cola, cherries, red currants, licorice and cocoa are just fine, but it’s the crispness and silky tannins that lift it up.

Shows good character in the dryness, crispness, smooth tannins and silky texture that frame ripe cherry pulp, cola, vanilla and pepper flavors. On the minus side is a sharply acidic finish. Drink soon.

A pretty good Chardonnay. Its a little pineapple juicy, and the oak is pretty strong, but a streak of minerality and crisp, clean acidity give just enough structure.

Tries for Burgundian richness, but ends up rather common, although it will satisfy fans of buttery, oaky Chardonnays. Shows ripe flavors of pineapple jam, apricot purée and buttered popcorn.
