This wine provoked violent disagreement among the tasting panel. Some called it thin and rubbery, while others lauded it for its blueberry fruit, black-pepper notes and chewy mouthfeel. It does seem a bit hard right now—aging it for a year or two will likely settle our disagreement.

Marked by slightly green flavors, that range from unroasted coffee beans to poivre vert. Crisp blackberry fruit is tart and a bit hard. Hold until 2008 and hope for positive evolution.
