A bit shocking and overpowering initially, with pull-back early aromas and alcohol-related burn. Give it time and it displays itself as a full, ripe, complex wine with heavy extraction and ripe peach, apricot and bitter flavors. Toffee and caramel lead the spicy, still-bitter finish.
