Ferraud et Fils 2009 Cuvée Ensorceleuse Gamay (Saint-Amour)

Producers love to play on Saint-Amour (in fact a Roman legionary), and this Sorcerer Cuvée is in a good tradition. The wine is soft, ripe, open and generous, with spice and juicy cherry and raspberry flavors. The tannins are in the background. — R.V. (10/1/2011)
