Rubbery and smoky at first, with earthy, leathery aromas. Snappy, crisp and juicy in the mouth, with honest PN flavors of light red fruits, toast and oak-based spice and chocolate. Dry, clean and a bit hot on the finish.

Surprisingly flat smelling and borderline oxidized, with jammy berry aromas setting up a chunky palate with herbal berry and candied flavors. Lacks clarity and does not rise to the occasion.

An oaky wine that’s funky at all checkpoints. The nose is briney and cheesy, while the palate is astringent and offers a speck of orange but mostly just resiny oak. And it’s barrel city on the finish.
