Piercing berry fruit aromas might seem a bit sharp, but there's ample fruit, body and richness in the mouth. Flavors of licorice and blackberry elicit a smile, and the finish is chewy, lengthy and tasty. Has what it takes, and the price is right.

Savory, spicy and full on the nose, with aromas of grilled meat, clove and cooked molasses. The palate is juicier and more lively, with cassis and grassy cherry and green tobacco flavors. A little herbal and reedy/weedy but good with a true mouthfeel.

Opens with apple and buttercup aromas that are encouraging, but the palate falls off. It’s wet but shows no definition or fruit. Creamy and generic in the mouth, and ultimately it doesn’t go anywhere besides being plump and loaded with vanilla.

Opens with popping, forward cherry aromas and a touch of basic spice. The palate screeches with what seems like forced acidity, and that creates tough, hard cherry and strawberry flavors. Angular without many positives.
